  • This tour will firstly show you the famous "Statue of Saigo Takamori".
    Saigo Takamori is one of the hero who supported the Meiji Restoration.
    This statue was built by Teru Ando who is famous for designing the Hachiko Statue in Shibuya.
  • Next, you will visit the Senganen Garden. Senganen is a Japanese style stately home and
    landscape garden along the coast north of downtown Kagoshima built by Mitsuhisa Shimazu.
    You will enjoy the striking feature of the use of Sakurajima and Kagoshima Bay as borrowed majestic scenery.
  • You will experience the state of Japan in Satsuma during the Edo period in the Museum of the Meiji Restoration. Enjoy learning all about the Meiji Restoration by variegated performance from interesting exhibition, videos and games.
